Cross Country and MTB Marathons are definitely sports that require incredible endurance and technical skills. In today’s world, spontaneous training is not enough to be considered among the leaders. You have to know how and what to train. Thanks to many years of experience in mountain biking and working as coaches, we have tested and know what works best. We program our training for the most demanding cyclists and MTB amateurs.
For Whom?
For anyone who wants to improve their fitness, riding skills and results in XC or MTB Marathons. Regardless of whether you are an advanced cyclist or just starting out. The workouts are scaled, so you can easily adjust the level to your abilities.
The workouts are programmed by experienced coaches and athletes, so you can be sure of what you are doing.
WHAT TO EXPECT?

Home and Gym version
The plan includes two versions of strength training – Gym and Home with minimal equipment. TFS XC/Maraton includes 2 strength workouts.

Conditioning
The plan includes 4 endurance bike workouts per week. If you can’t get out on your bike, we have prepared substitutes (stationary bike, trainer, running or rower)

Flexibility
The plan assumes a minimum of 2 workouts per week and a maximum of 6 workouts per week. Depending on your level of advancement and available time, you choose how many you do.

Results
Enjoy the training effects on your bike. No more sore arms, legs and shortness of breath. If you follow the plan and don’t see progress, we’ll refund 100% of your money.

PERIODIZATION 365
Our training programmes are designed in line with a yearly training periodization, ensuring they run throughout the entire year. This means that whenever you join the programme, you will receive workouts that are suited to the current season. Each session includes regressions and alternative exercises, allowing you to maximise your training experience regardless of your current fitness level or the time of year.

FUNCTIONAL STRENGTH
Build functional muscle strength that will ensure that no obstacle on the course will stop you.
SPEED
Speed is a trainable skill! Our workouts will help you achieve higher speeds while having more control over your bike.
ENDURANCE
Get rid of shortness of breath and burning muscles. Thanks to our training, you will build endurance that will allow you to maintain concentration all day long.

FAQ
Will the training be too difficult for me?
Each workout offers the option of scaling the exercise level. If you find that you are unable to perform a movement, you can use an alternative exercise. This means that you can be sure that you will benefit from our workouts regardless of your level of advancement.
Additionally, as part of each training program, you also receive the TFS Intro plan, which is designed for beginners. Thanks to it, you will learn how to perform exercises correctly, go through basic progression and prepare for the main program.
What do I need for training?
As part of the training program, you receive 2 versions of strength training: Gym and Home. It’s up to you which plan you will do. You can stick to one of them or mix them up during the week. In the gym, we use basic equipment such as a barbell, dumbbells, kettlebells, a bar, a box, gymnastic rings or TRX. However, for the “Home” version of training, you don’t need any equipment. You can do most of the exercises with just your own body weight, but additional accessories such as resistance bands, dumbbells or a bar are welcome 😉
We design endurance training with a bike or trainer in mind. An alternative option is running, an Airbike or a rowing ergometer.
Which training program should I choose?
Start by asking yourself what discipline is your priority and what goal you want to achive, then choose the right one. If you do Enduro and DH choose TFS Enduro. If want to move better, get stronger and improve your physique choose TFS Hybrid Athlete. However, if you have non-standard needs and would like more attention from a coach, then choose an individual program.
How can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into “My Account“. On this page you will see the currently purchased programs and you can fully manage them, simply and conveniently. If you decide that for some reason Train For Skills is not for you, you can cancel your subscription on the same day in a few seconds.
